Shutterent Terms & Conditions

By using the service provided on this website and other subpages within, you, who henceforth will be referred to as “borrower” and/or “customer”, agree to follow all the terms and conditions laid down by Shutterent, who henceforth will be referred to as “Owner”, “Us”. “We” and/or “Store”.

Scrutiny 

The equipment/studio will be rented to the customer only after the scrutiny of the details of the customer. Anyone who wishes to rent the equipments/studio will be asked to provide identification details such as AADHAR CARD/DRIVING LICENSE that must contain the permanent/local address of the borrower. If the ID details does not contain the local address then the borrower must provide a valid ID that contains the local address-such as Rental Agreement, internet bill, landline connection.

Rental Procedure

Bookings may be made up to four weeks ahead of the requested Rental Period, and the Borrower must submit valid ID card during the Rental Period. Before any equipment is dispatched or personally collected is at the SHUTTERENT office, OR the studio is occupied for rent, 100% payment for the entire rental period must be made. Failing to do so Shutterent has the right to cancel the order immediately. Bookings made by telephone shall only be confirmed upon payment of entire deposit in person or through electronic means.

Damage and Loss

The borrower must ensure careful handling of the equipment and must not materially modify any part of the equipment. In any case of damage/theft/loss of equipment the borrower shall contact Shutterent immediately. If is explicitly understood that the borrower is responsible for all/any damage caused to the equipment and/or associated accessories. In the event of the loss of the equipment, the customer agrees to pay the replacement cost the equipment within 48 hours. The borrower shall pay to Shutterent any costs for the repair along with the daily charges that apply to the equipment until the product is replaced/repaired. 

In case of Studio Space, the space will be subject to inspection before and after the studio is rented to the customer. Any damages (including but not limited to breaking, graffiti, painting, replacement, theft, alteration) to the building/equipment/furniture within the space must be paid for/ repaired by the customer. Failing to do so we will be forced to take any legal proceedings necessary to reclaim the amount caused to repair the damages cause. Additionally, we will be forced to prohibit the customer from using our services in the future. 

The customer understands that the authority to rent the studio space belongs to Shutterent alone and the customer will not sublet the space at any given circumstances. The customer also agrees to keep us informed on the activities that will be conducted within the studio and will not conduct any activities that are deemed illegal by the Government of the State.
