By renting or using our services through shutterent.com, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
Please read them carefully before proceeding with your booking.

1️⃣ Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older to rent equipment.

• Valid government-issued ID proof (Aadhaar, Driving License, or Passport) and address proof are required before approval.

• We reserve the right to approve or deny rental requests at our discretion.

2️⃣ Rental Duration

• Rental periods begin at the time of equipment handover or delivery and end when the item is returned or picked up.

• Extensions must be requested at least 12 hours before the return deadline and are subject to availability and additional charges.

• Late returns will incur late fees per day, which may exceed the standard daily rental rate.

3️⃣ Delivery & Pickup

• A flat delivery and pickup fee applies to all orders within our service area.

• Delivery is available within a 20 km radius of our base location unless otherwise stated.

• Customers must ensure someone is available to receive and return the gear at the scheduled time.

4️⃣ Payments & Deposits

• Payment must be made in full before dispatch via UPI or bank transfer.

• Some rentals may require a refundable security deposit, depending on the value of the equipment.

• The deposit will be refunded within 24–48 hours after safe return and inspection of the equipment.

• Any damage, delay, or missing accessories will result in partial or full deduction from the deposit.

5️⃣ Equipment Use & Responsibility

• Customers are responsible for the safe handling and proper use of all rented gear.

• Equipment should not be sub-rented, loaned, or used for unlawful purposes.

• In case of damage, theft, or loss, repair or replacement costs must be borne by the renter.

• We recommend handling all cameras and lenses with professional care and storing them in a secure environment.

6️⃣ Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations made 12 hours before delivery are eligible for a full refund.

• Cancellations made after dispatch will incur a 50% fee.

• No refunds are provided once the rental period has started.

7️⃣ Verification & Approval

• All bookings are subject to manual verification.

• Orders will remain on hold until your ID and address proof are approved by our admin team.

• Shutterent reserves the right to reject or cancel any order that fails verification or appears fraudulent.

8️⃣ Liability

• Shutterent is not liable for indirect losses, data loss, or business interruption caused by rented equipment malfunction.

• Our liability is limited to the rental fee paid for the specific equipment.

9️⃣ Privacy

• All user data, including uploaded IDs and address proofs, are kept secure and confidential.

• We do not share personal data with third parties except for verification and legal compliance.

• All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
